Meet Rose Dominguez
Born in 2003 and raised in Watsonville, California, Rosalyne Dominguez is a first generation Mexican American graduate from California College of the Arts.
Her style ranges from screen print like illustrations to retro style illustrations. Whatever the project calls for, her style adapts to it.
She makes portraits of people who are actively making history, as well as pieces that contain bits and pieces of herself.

What is my motive?
My main motive is to be able to express human emotion through my illustrations, as well as bits and pieces of myself that I tend to hide.
I want to shine light on them, since human emotions are often overlooked over and set aside.
As for my creativity, I want to be able to expand it and go beyond what I'm able to do. I want to be able to push the limits on what I do.
I aim to deliver a new perspective in my illustrations. I want to be able to showcase feeling and vulnerability to connect with my audience.
Uniqueness
By combining my view, emotions, and those of others, I want to be able to let my illustrations speak to me.
Originality
Every piece of my art is a glimpse into my mind and personality. it showcases my specific way of doing things.
Inspiration
I hope to inspire people and other artists to show who they really are, what interests them, and to put a piece of themselves out into the world.
